John Plumbe born in 1718 of Lowestoft licensed 26th Janry 1757 for the North Channel; is acquainted to the Northward as far as Newcastle.

This captain had just two ships and it looks like he died about age 63. There is no indication whether he was lost at sea or died of natural causes or something else altogether.
