A Young Cadet

Here's a very well turned out young man, complete with rope to practice his knots with. I'm assuming this is an early scout, but there were several boy's organizations at this time. He could have been simply dressing up as an explorer or cowboy. Either way, his parents thought he was cute enough to have a picture made in costume.
