Caption: J. G. Taylor
This very natty and well-pressed Mr. Taylor is wearing a double-breasted or "reefer" jacket. During his time, this was a very casual style of jacket and not one worn to the office. In the late 19th century it was a jacket worn to tennis matches or out hunting and didn't become more formal wear until the late 30's when the Duke of Windsor began wearing them to official events (Oh, the scandal!!!).
