This card was so fresh and crisp that I thought it was a repro when I first looked at it; but it's not. It was just very well preserved in a dark, dry place and untouched for over 100 years.
I do have to wonder why the little boy is holding a whip, but knowing three-year-olds he must have been told he could keep it if he stood still for the photo.
