Caption: The Harbour from South Pier Pavilion, Lowestoft

The two ships in docked in the Yacht Basin are military motor launches. MML 441 and ML551 were World War 1 era motor launches built by the Elco Company of the US.

ML 551, served in Dover Command, battle honour - Zeebrugge (Ostend) 4.1918. All motor launches were sold or otherwise disposed of by the Royal Navy by 1924.
