This is Jubilee Way, where the beach huts are today. Look how close the sea is to the hillside! The sender of the P. C. wrote "Sitting here" and an arrow, but no one is sitting in the chair he/she so carefully points to.

The photographer tried to put his name on the front but it was mostly unreadable. Charles Metcalf used white ink this way, but although the first initial is a C. the rest of the name just can't be forced into "Metcalf" no matter how hard I try.
