Dear Olive and Vernon,
We are doing very well. Here today- Tuesday- dull but not raining. Have just bought you a nice brass for the side of your Lineflaa. Dear will you be sure to tell Alf Holland that I don't think I can manage the lights as I shall have Mabel & Charlie with us, also I have had a letter from Mrs. Barnes and she will be in S/end that day and wanted me to meet her but I have told her I cannot be seen and tell him for me.
