I don't think this is the usual Esplanade photo by the Claremont Photographic Stores. This looks like the North Beach/Denes area to me, based on the line of hills inthe background, but it could be anywhere. The dog seems to be a Norfolk or Norwich Terrior. I used to see loads of them, but they have recently fallen out of favour for yorkies and chihuahuas.
