I can edit out the slurs or leave them in. I leave them in as a monument to how the world has changed for the better.

I wish we still had the tank in front of the lighthouse! What a great monument! I don't know when it was moved, but I'm sure it was moved about 1939 to lessen the likelihood that the High Lighthouse would be a bombing target.
