Caption: Cueilli d'une main tendre,
Bouquet couleur des cieux,
Va charmer et surprendre
Un coeur trop aublieux

Plucked by a gentle hand,
a heavenly coloured bouquet,
Will charm and amaze,
A too forgetful heart.

Why would someone in England put "England" on the address when it's being sent to someone who's also in England? Where did the French card come from? Hastings had several temporary military hospitals that took over local sanitoriums at the end of WWI. Is this card from a military patient who brought a card with him from France and wrote "England" out of habit?
