Dear Mrs. Fuller,
Did you recieve my last P.C.? I am so sorry but after I had posted it we remembered that I should have put on a 1d stamp, do please forgive me it was quite an oversight. Have you been away this year. We have been to Lowestoft, this is a view Dad took of one of the parks there, we had a lovely holiday. I go back to school on Sept. 11th. What kind of weather are you having, it rains here everyday, has done for past month or two.
Yours truly
Phyllis Kimber

Caption: The Avenue, Belle Vue Park, Lowestoft

Since Phyllis Kimber was still in school I am assuming she was not married and using her maiden name and so the "Dad" who took the picture was Mr. Kimber.

Notice the family sitting on the left. This was PC sold to me by a non-Lowestoft vendor with a description that the man was a tram driver, but I don't think so. The tram driver's hats and uniforms in Lowestoft at the time were a bit different. I think, if you have to make any assumption at all about the flat cap, is that he is a harbour worker or official.
