Caption: Scottish Lassies Gutting the Herrings

This was sold to me as a Lowestoft card, but once I received it, I don't know if it is. The generic buildings in the background could be anywhere up and down the coast and Lowestoft was just one of several seaport towns that the Scottish women worked in during herring season.
