There is nothing on the card to say this is a Lowestoft boat, but it was sold to me as one. I haven't come across the "Rooke" in the Port of Lowestoft Records, but I'm not finished with them yet. The sign on the boat says "Crabtree, C.L., (XXX can't read), Engineers, Shipbuilders, G. Yarmouth". W. F. Crabtree, Ltd. was a Southtown, G. Yarmouth shipbuilder that was founded in 1854 and sold to Richards of Lowestoft in 1970.
