This photo is one of two copies. The date "March 1893" is written in very tiny writing on the top of Card L1223, but not on L1224. L1223 still has the onionskin cover attached.

One interesting thing about this photo is that while at first glance the young woman seems to be well turned out, if you look with a loop the front of her dress is missing two buttons and is a bit worn. In 1893, her dress was a bit old fashioned. The broach on her neck is a pea pod with pearls for peas and looks to be missing a setting.
