Boy Alan leaving for sea trials yesterday XXXXX Bridge Boatyard at Yarmouth, where she XXXX the first fishing boat, other than open longshore boats to be built at Yarmouth for many years, and is named after the 21-year-old younger son of the owner, Mr. Arthur Challis, senior, a retired Lowestoft trawler skipper. Described as a super longshore boat, the Boy Alan is equipped with echo-sounder, radio direction-finder, radio, gas-fired galley, bunks and flush toilets.
