My Dear Mother
I got home alright. Aunt Jane is still very sadly not quite so well I think. Mr. Carter is slightly better but still very ill. Alice is now going around to hear how Aunt J is today and I am sending her some roses. It simply poured with rain from about 9.30 till after we were asleep. It had been nice and bright all this morning but is very cloudy now. I am just going to market.
Please thank Ellie for pic. I will try to carry out her instructions also for a 2nd XXXX. Will send to A. G. discretely.
Aunt. J. not so well, sore throat which Dr. does not like. He is going again on Mon. has not been for a week & is sent for him at once if she sees any signs of being worse.
