This is a purchased photo used in a Victorian scrapbook. Tourists often purchased photos of areas of local interest, so this one of the boy might not be a relative of the album maker, but might just be a place they visited. Since there were other photos of Suffolk in the album and the verso page has a photo of Lowestoft, I'm including it in my colleection. In any case, it's a darling photo. Wouldn't you have loved to have a miniature sailboat like this lucky little sailor?
