We are having such a grt time here, it's so v. jolly. All very friendly, we always wear our badges so we need no introducing wh. is a great thing! People are keen, wh. is very nice. Meetings morning and evening are delightful. Had a very good YPG meeting this morning. I was hauled on to the platform! Many have been at my stall. New queus of Candidates are being present. Connie gone back to London today. Went to Grt Yarmouth on Mon. were shown over Church. VERY fine. Went to Fritton on Tues. Mr. Hooper (of Hyde House) lives here & has asked me to tea.

This was a locally produced card for a religious meeting or convention. It seems the writer is a realtive of the Rev. Boulibee and came all the way from Australia for this meeting. No wonder she was "hauled to the platform"! She was probably the winner of the "Longest Journey To Get Here Award".
This card was mailed on the 27th of May and reached it's recipient in Australia on the 7th of July. When you look at communication time scales like this it's not wonder the telephone and telegraph were marvels.
In different ink, but in the same hand, "Boomarra Stall, Normanston Rd" is written by the stamp.
