Please thank mother for her letters. We were glad to hear. We were very disappointed that the Regatta was put off. It was blowing a gale in the morning & even the steamers could not get in harbour.

The Regatta used to be a Very Big Thing. It's a pity it faded away.

This card is by WYN of Lowestoft and is the only instance I have of anything by this publisher/photographer. I don't know if the WYN are initials or the last name. The photo is very faded and not of high quality, so it would not be surprising if this was a not a successful business venture.
