B. Ralph worked London Road South, Lowestoft about 1880. His studio was later sold or given to W. Warren, who used Ralph's old card stock.
W. Warren was listed as his own business as working at London Road South, Lowestoft (Kelly's Suffolk Directory, 1888). On the back of a carte de viste, W. Warren overwrites (crosses out) Ralph's name and presents it as taking over the studio of the (late) B. Ralph, London Road South, Lowestoft. (Late could could mean "dead", but probably means "once was owned by").
Card K0723 (see above) has "Warren & Wray" as the owners of Bevan's old stock. With so few "Warren" examples and no examples of "Wray" working alone, I can guess that Warren was having problems making a go of it and found a partner, if only for a short time.
